The person behind EasyBear
A clearer view of the markets.
I'm Serene Tan, the founder of EasyBear.ai. I spent more than 10 years trading derivatives at major financial institutions, and I still love the work of reading a market.
I recently stepped away from the industry to focus on my family and build EasyBear. It gives me a way to stay close to the markets while creating something useful for other traders.
What interests me is the detail: where exposure is concentrated, how it changes, and how price responds. EasyBear brings those observations together so you can ask better questions, examine the evidence and make more informed trading decisions.
My aim is a practical workspace that I would want to use myself: clear charts, meaningful context and numbers you can inspect. The tools are still evolving, and thoughtful feedback helps shape what comes next.
What the dashboard shows
Options exposure
GEX and DEX estimates combine option greeks, open interest, contract multipliers and a spot reference. Options data comes from Massive, formerly Polygon. The dashboard labels its 15-minute-delayed source and snapshot collection time; collection time is not the timestamp of every input.
Different books and clocks
0DTE selects the same-day expiry. Multi-Day combines the tracked expiry set. Saved session history shows recorded captures for a selected date and scope. Moving the history slider does not replay the current strike map.
These are modeled exposure estimates. They do not establish dealer inventory, executed buying or selling, or future price direction. Open interest updates overnight; a changing intraday estimate is not proof of new positions.
How to use the educational material
Worked examples and interactive illustrations use clearly labelled invented inputs. They teach the disclosed arithmetic and how to read the interface. They are not observations of a real trading session, a backtest or evidence of investment returns.

Understand the numbers
Change illustrative inputs, inspect the arithmetic and compare GEX with DEX.
For source definitions, consult Massive’s option snapshot documentation and the references alongside the tutorial. EasyBear’s position assumptions and display units are documented separately from provider definitions.

Reporting a data issue
The ticker, selected date and scope, displayed time, and the value you are checking help me reproduce an issue. A page link or screenshot is useful; please remove any private account information.
